At RA Roberts we are always keen on investing in ways to increase our eco friendly credentials and minimize the effect our business has on the planet. We are really happy to announce that we have installed solar panels to the roof of our building under our initiative to put The Earth 1st.The PV solar panels will produce a great amount of green electricity, meaning that any electricity that we don’t use can be returned to the grid, supplying others with green electricity too. |
| Furthermore as part of the installation we can monitor the amount of green electricity produced every day and in the coming months this will be displayed on our website.The Earth 1st initiative has already seen us here at RA Roberts reduce our waste to landfill by over 83% and invest in eco friendly low carbon emission vehicles for our entire fleet. We are now going even further by inviting our customers to get involved in a number of ways and offering free advice on how to put the Earth 1st. It doesn’t have to be a big expensive statement; something as small as grouping small orders together before placing an order minimizes the number of deliveries made and reduces the amount of Co2 produced.
